Annual In Remembrance Day Celebration
Join us as we celebrate the memory of your loved one at our annual In Remembrance Day Celebration. This celebration is designed to uplift and encourage families which we have served 2020 - 2023.
We will serve lunch followed by a short inspirational program featuring a video presentation and candle lighting in honor of your loved one.
How To RSVP:
- Submit the registration form at the bottom of this page. The form will ask for the following information about your loved one:
Registration Information:
- A Clear Photo of your loved one. We will not be able to retrieve any pictures from obituaries.
- The number of family members that will be attending
- Your loved one’s Full Name, Date of Birth, and Date of Death
- If applicable, the Branch of Military Service where he/she served (i.e. Army, Navy, etc.)
In Person Participation (registration closed / capacity has been reached):
- Join us at The Calahan Funeral Home Legacy Center, 7046 S. Halsted (Corner of 71st Halsted)
- Lunch will be served from 2:00pm—2:45pm. The In Remembrance service begins at 3pm sharp.
- Wear your loved one’s favorite color, i.e. a flower, tie, shirt, etc.
- Choose a family representative to stand and share 1 minute heartwarming memory when your loved one’s name is called
Online/Virtual Participation:
- If you cannot join us in person, tune in at www.calahanfuneralhome.live
- When your loved one’s picture is shown, light a candle in their memory where you are with family and friends. Take photos of your family gathering.
- Share pictures on social media using the hashtag #CalahanRemembers2023.
- Tag Calahan Funeral Home and Cremation Services in your post.
