Mary Lee Fraund

Mary Lee Fraund was born in Rayville, Louisiana on October 31, 1944 to the parents of A. D. Haynes and Eliza Turner - Haynes. She was known by many as "Ms. Haynes" or "Grand Duche' ". She confessed her life to Christ at an early age. She joined Green Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. B. J. Washington where she was baptized. In 1966, Mary moved to Chicago, IL where she continued serving the Lord, she joined First Gideon Baptist Church located 41st & Prairie, under the leadership of Rev. Thompson. Later in her journey she became a member of Holy Rock Church & Outreach Ministries located 5854 S. Morgan St. under the leadership of Apostle H. L. Messenger. In 1975 Mary met and later married her dedicated husband Tod Fraund on August 18, 1978. In this union no children were born. Throughout her life journey Mary worked hard at Loyola University and as a caretaker for many years until her retirement. This type of discipline she instilled in her two daughters: Dr. Candy and Linda. Mary would be remembered for her no nonsense, no filter and fearlessness. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her siblings: Betty Lee, Odell, Roosevelt, Standley, William, Roseboro, A.D. Haynes Jr., Adell, and Lee. Her Grandsons: Bryant and Mario Jr., Cousin Ethel Turner Nephew: Toney Ingram She leaves to cherish in memory: a loving husband Tod Fraund; of Chicago, IL.; Children: Dr. Candy Haynes, of Killeen, TX and Linda Collins (Tony) of Monroe, La.; Sister: Caroyln Jones of Monroe, La.; Sister-in-Law: Annie Haynes of Kyle, TX.; Cousin: Rochelle Barber of Chicago, IL.; 6 Grandchildren: DeAndre of Chicago, IL., John III of Austin, TX, Jakkira of Killeen TX., Latonya and Whitney of Monroe, La., Tony Jr. of Houston, TX.; 14 Great Grandchildren: Alexzander Jr. Jaycion, Jakori, Anais, Makayla, Malika, Catilayah, Mariyea, Amariona, Journi, Zion, Kyree, Koby, Kane, DeAndre.; Neices: Karen of Lancaster, Cali., Glenda Turner (Darren) of Monroe, La, Linda and Veronica Haynes of Monroe, La. Antoinette Haynes of Baton, La.; Nephews: Anthony Haynes (Keisha) of Kyle, TX, Patrick of Chicago,IL., Michael Ingram (Jenny) of Michigan, Larry Ingram Sr. (Odessa) of Gary, In.
