Our family celebration room is the ideal onsite setting for a memorable repast that celebrates the life of your loved one. We also have a staff caterer who can tailor a menu for your family’s needs.

Rev. Jasper Taylor has served as our staff chaplain for 5 years. A fourth-generation ordained minister of the gospel, Rev. Jasper Taylor serves as the Executive Pastor of St. Paul and Greater Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. He is privileged to continue a legacy of ministry at two churches where his father currently Pastors, but also where both of his grandfathers, distinctively named Jasper, served as Pastor. 

Having completed his clinical pastoral education in the field of chaplaincy at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Jasper’s experience and compassion makes a lasting impression on families as they celebrate the lives of their loved ones here at Calahan Funeral Home.
